DELABIE, Europe’s leading manufacturer of water control solutions and sanitary fittings for commercial environments, recently announced the acquisition of German company Kuhfuss Sanitar, located in Hiddenhausen in Westfalie; a company also well known for its specialisation in the sanitary sector for public and commercial environments.

Founded in 1987, the brand is well known in Germany for its innovative solutions and its products of extremely high quality. The Kuhfuss offering comprises 13 different ranges: sinks, basins, surgical taps and troughs, urinals, WCs, shower panels, recessed shower valves and other sanitary accessories, which complements the Delabie offering. Their distribution in Germany, which operates via wholesalers, will be under the new brand name Kuhfuss Delabie.

The German manufacturer works with three principal materials:
. Stainless steel in different finishes (polished, mirror polished, matt, satin, etc.) ;
. Mineralstahl (mineral steel), a durable material  that is warm to touch, lighter than steel but with the same advantages in terms of resistance to impact, vandalism and temperatures up to 180° ;
. Cast minerals, composite material with a gel coating that is highly resistant to physical and chemical  attacks, which can be readily repaired if damaged.

The bore holes funded by DELABIE primarily serve rural villages with 100 to 5,000 inhabitants. They vary in depth from 25m to 150m depending on their location.

DELABIE, the European leader in commercial water controls and sanitary equipment, opened it own foundry in Braga, Portugal on 4th June 2012.

This production facility will allow the company to reinforce the reliability and quality of its products and supplies.
