Mortonhall Estate, a family-owned estate located in Edinburgh, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to the 1800s. Over the years, it has evolved to include various facilities and services, including the largest touring Caravan Park in Scotland, established in 1974. This park offers 575 touring pitches, 21 caravan holiday homes and 8 wigwams, making it a significant destination for both UK residents and international visitors. Its proximity to Edinburgh, just four miles away, and excellent transport links make it an attractive spot for tourists.
The recent project at Mortonhall caravan park focused on the development and extension of washroom facilities to enhance the visitor experience. Initiated in 2018, the project faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic but gained momentum in 2021 and was completed in August 2023.
Kevin Wright, the leisure and retail manager at Morton Hall, chose DELABIE products for their reliability, water-saving and aesthetic advantages.
Having previously installed DELABIE TEMPOSTOP taps in one of their WC facilities, the park experienced six years of flawless performance without the need for any repairs, solidifying their decision to use DELABIE products for the washroom extension project.
